Cookie and Storage Policy

Summary: LearnixTa uses a small set of necessary browser storage items to remember your preferences, your guest progress and notices you have dismissed. There are no advertising cookies, no behavioural analytics and no session replay in this release.
1. What is stored and why
lxt_device_id (local storage) — a random identifier that links your guest progress and quiz results so they can be shown again on this browser and fair-use limits can be applied. Lifetime: until you clear browser storage.
lxt-theme (local storage) — your light/dark theme choice. lxt-reading-v61 (local storage) — your chosen reading size. Lifetime: until cleared.
learnixta.educational-note.v2 (session storage) — records that the educational note was shown in this tab, so it is not repeated. Lifetime: closes with the tab.
Cookie-notice and similar dismissal flags (local storage) — remember that you closed a notice. Lifetime: until cleared.
Saved quiz results (local storage) — a local copy of results you generated, so they survive a page reload. Lifetime: until cleared.
Visitor count — one request per browser records that a visit happened, used only for the aggregate homepage counter.
2. What is not used
Optional product analytics (a PostHog snippet is present in the page template but is not initialised and sends nothing), advertising trackers and session recording are switched off. Introductory video embeds are paused, so no third-party video player loads automatically. External links open the other site’s own cookies under its own policy.
3. Your choices
Your browser lets you inspect, block or delete storage for learnixta.com. Doing so can remove unsaved guest progress and reset your preferences, but every public pathway remains accessible. We never disable browser zoom, pinch-zoom or assistive settings as a storage or anti-copy measure.
If we add an optional tracker in future, we will list it here first and rejecting it will be as easy as accepting it; consent is never pre-selected or inferred from opening a policy page.
