Privacy Policy

Important — LearnixTa can make mistakes. Our content is guidance, not guaranteed fact. Please verify important details (courses, fees, exams, cutoffs, jobs, earnings) with official sources before you act. See our AI Disclaimer.

This Privacy Policy explains how LearnixTa Private Limited (CIN: [insert CIN], registered office: [insert registered address], Khammam, Telangana, India) ("LearnixTa", "we", "us") handles data when you use our website (learnixta.com) or app (the "Platform"). We are the "Data Fiduciary" under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and we also comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules, 2021.

The short version: you can use the whole Platform without an account and without telling us who you are. We ask for no name, no email, no phone number and no payment details to explore LearnixTa.

1. Data we collect

  • No account data. There is no sign-up, login, password or OTP for visitors, so we do not collect account credentials.
  • Anonymous device session: a randomly generated device identifier stored in your browser, used to remember your own progress and to apply the daily limit of 3 pathways per device per 24 hours. It does not tell us who you are.
  • Usage data: the pathway you choose (e.g., After 10th, After Inter, B.Tech, BBA, MBA, Banking, Blue-Collar, OwnPath, Life Skills), quiz answers, selections, results/reports, saved progress, and questions you ask AI features — all stored against the anonymous device session.
  • Data you choose to give us: if you post a review or fill in a feedback or outcomes form, we receive what you type — which may include your name, email, phone number, role/city and your message. These fields are entirely voluntary.
  • Technical data: device type, browser, IP address (used for security, abuse prevention and an anonymous visit count), and local storage/cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • No payment data. The Platform is free and has no checkout, so we never collect or store card, UPI or bank details.

We collect only the data needed to provide the service (data minimisation).

2. Purposes and legal basis

We process data based on your consent (or your parent/guardian's verifiable consent if you are under 18, where you choose to give us personal data), and for certain legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act, to:

  • run the service: quizzes, previews, reports, roadmaps, saved progress and your selections on your device;
  • apply the free daily usage limit fairly across devices;
  • publish reviews you submit and respond to enquiries, support requests and grievances;
  • improve the Platform and prevent abuse (rate limits, anti-scraping, security);
  • count visits in aggregate so we can see how many people the Platform reaches.

We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not use your data for purposes beyond those notified to you at the time of collection.

3. Children (users under 18)

The DPDP Act treats everyone under 18 as a child. Because the Platform needs no account and no personal data to use, a student can explore LearnixTa without giving us any personal data at all. In addition:

  • Where a form does ask for personal data, a user under 18 should complete it only with a parent's or lawful guardian's verifiable consent, in line with Rule 10 of the DPDP Rules, 2025.
  • We do not carry out behavioural tracking, profiling, targeted advertising, or any processing likely to cause detrimental effect to a child.
  • Parents/guardians may exercise all data rights (Section 7 below) on behalf of the child.

4. AI features

Where the Platform uses AI assistance, your questions are processed by third-party AI service providers to generate responses. These providers process the data only to provide the service to us. Do not share sensitive personal information (health, financial details, identity numbers such as Aadhaar/PAN) in any chat or form.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Data Processors / service providers who run the Platform (hosting, database, email delivery for our own notifications, AI providers) — under contracts that bind them to use the data only for our service and to protect it;
  • Authorities, where required by law or lawful order.

If any data is transferred outside India (for example, cloud or AI infrastructure), we do so only as permitted under the DPDP Act and any government-notified restrictions.

6. How long we keep data

Device-session progress is kept while it remains useful to you and is erased when it is no longer needed for that purpose. Enquiry messages and reviews are kept for as long as needed to respond, to keep the review wall accurate, or as required for legal or dispute purposes. You may ask us to delete anything you have sent us at any time (Section 7); we will erase it unless a law requires us to retain it. Clearing your browser storage removes the device session from your side.

7. Your rights (DPDP Act)

You (or your parent/guardian, if you are under 18) may:

  • access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • ask us to correct, complete, or update it;
  • ask us to erase it (for example, take down a review you posted);
  • withdraw consent at any time (as easily as it was given) — this stops future processing but does not affect what was lawfully done earlier;
  • nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity;
  • raise a grievance with us.

Write to our Grievance Officer (Section 11) with enough detail for us to find your data (for example, the review text or the email you used on a form). We will acknowledge within 24 hours and respond within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security and breach notification

We use reasonable security safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side access controls, hashed credentials for staff accounts, and rate limiting. No system is 100% secure. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required under the DPDP Act and Rules.

9. Cookies and local storage

See our separate Cookie Policy. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use tracking or targeted advertising directed at children.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy; the version published on this page is the current one. Significant changes will be notified on the Platform, and users will be reminded of our policies at least once a year.
